Having just read this through: It appears that, in the above poster, memory is tested by having the subject direct a remote controlled device to the place they believe the light-object had been (but was since been removed). It seems that this is the way the subject's experience with the prosthetic sense & the light is investigated for distance accuracy. So, I am assuming: The initial distance between the subject (blindfolded) & the light would need to have been documented, and then the distance between the subject (no longer blindfolded) and the remote control device's destination would be documented for comparison. If this is the experiment we are reproducing, then I guess we should add a remote controlled vehicle of sorts to our "need-to-get" list? A child's toy car/truck for eg?
